Scope
This notice applies to the Speak2Work website at speak2work.com. The broader SunSea Apps privacy policy remains the canonical policy for Speak2Work products, including the mobile app. This page adds website-specific detail.
No account or cloud-synced lesson profile
You do not need an account to use the website. The website has no sign-in system and does not upload or cloud-sync your lesson progress. If you clear this site’s browser data or use another browser or device, locally stored progress and preferences will not follow you.
Information stored in your browser
Speak2Work uses browser localStorage to remember lesson progress, completed modules, practice settings, selected vocabulary favourites, the global translation-language preference, and whether a desktop app-promotion dialog was dismissed. Short-lived sessionStorage markers prevent duplicate analytics events during a browser session. These values remain in your browser unless you clear site data; they are not a Speak2Work cloud backup.
Google Analytics
The website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand page use and improve the educational experience. GA4 may receive ordinary web and device information and events such as page views, profession-page views, lesson-module opens, audio plays, practice progress, and App Store link clicks.
Speak2Work’s custom events use structural fields such as page, profession, module, item identifier, and campaign. They are designed not to send lesson answers, translations, names, email addresses, or lesson text. Google processes analytics information under its own terms and privacy practices. Browser settings, content blockers, or Google’s available opt-out controls may limit this collection.
Attribution and outbound links
App Store links include Apple campaign and provider parameters such as pt, ct, and mt so downloads can be attributed to broad website campaigns such as home, app, or jobs. Incoming campaign or other query parameters may also be present in normal request URLs and standard analytics or hosting logs. Speak2Work does not use them to create a website account.
Hosting and third-party services
Cloudflare hosts and delivers the static website and may process standard request and security information, such as IP address, browser details, requested URL, timing, and network-security signals. Google provides GA4. Apple operates the App Store reached through outbound links. Other external sources linked in educational content receive information according to their own policies when you choose to visit them.
Firebase is not used by the current website. Any Firebase or mobile diagnostics described in the canonical policy relate to the mobile product, not the present speak2work.com web implementation.
Sale and advertising
Speak2Work does not sell personal information and does not currently run third-party advertising on this website. This statement describes current practices; it is not a certification or a guarantee about services outside Speak2Work’s control.
Your choices and changes
You can clear Speak2Work site data through your browser to remove local lesson progress and preferences. You can also use browser privacy controls to limit analytics. This notice may be updated when website features or service providers change; the effective date above will be revised when that happens.
